Voting Member (Company/ Individual)

Voting member applications require nominations of two directors and a majority vote from the Board of Directors.

Membership can be obtained in an individual capacity or under a company name. Membership is non- transferable.

Voting Members have the right to vote for the second and subsequent terms of the board.
Ordinary Member (Company)

Ordinary members (company) must join under the name of the company. Membership is non- transferable.

Applications of ordinary members (company) require nominations by two directors and a majority vote from the Board of Directors.

New members must join as ordinary members and can apply to become a voting member after three years. Applications of voting members require nominations by two directors and a majority vote of the Board of Directors.

Personal Data Collection Statement and Privacy Policy Statement
In this statement, “the Association” refers to The Greater Bay Area ACG Culture Association Limited, and “the Ordinance” refers to Chapter 486 of the Laws of Hong Kong, the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.
The Associate is committed to complying with the provisions of the Ordinance, endeavoring to protect the privacy, confidentiality, and the security of the personal data held by the Association and safeguard the privacy of applicants and members of the Association.
1. The Association will use the collected data for the following purposes:

Contact, promote or collect opinions directly or indirectly via various communication channels (including but not limited to posts, e- mail, telephone and fax, etc.)

Handle all membership related matters

Investigate and handle complaints ,claims or any incident involving the Association of any of its clients or visitors

Prevent, detect or investigate suspicious or illegal activities

Make disclosures as required by any applicable laws, court orders, directives, guidelines ,within or outside Hong Kong; and

Any other purposes related to the above
2. In accordance with the requirements of the Ordinance, the Association must take all reasonable and feasible measures to properly safeguard the personal data held by the Association. Except in the following circumstances, the Association will not disclose or transfer the relevant data to a third party or other organization without your consent:

If disclosure is required by any law, statute, court order, direction, code or guideline, we may disclose your information to the relevant government or law enforcement, judicial or regulatory agencies in accordance with such laws or regulations.

In addition, when using the relevant information for the purposes described in this Statement, the Association may provide, disclose or transfer your/your company's information to any person who is under a confidentiality obligation to the Association (including the Association's accountants, auditors, legal advisers or other professional advisers) and any subsidiaries, holding companies, associated companies or related companies of the Association.
3. In order to process the applicant's membership-related matters and membership affairs after joining, the applicant must provide all the information required by the form. If the information is not provided, the Association may not be able to approve the application.
4. You have the right to access or change your personal information held by the Association (including your wish to use your personal information for marketing purposes, etc.). The Association may charge you a reasonable fee for processing your request for access to your information. If you need to inquire or check whether the Association holds your personal information or to correct any inaccuracies in your information, please send an email to secretariat@gbaacgc.org or write to the Secretariat at Rooms 312-315, Billionaire Industrial Centre, 883 Cheung Sha Wan Road, Lai Chi Kok, Kowloon, Hong Kong.
5. In accordance with the requirements of the Ordinance, the Association will take all reasonable and practicable measures to ensure that (a) personal data is accurate when used; and (b) personal data held by the Association shall not be retained for longer than is necessary to achieve the purpose for which the data is used, unless permitted by the Ordinance or in accordance with any applicable legal or regulatory requirements.
